I started going to Gregg's music classes more than 4 years ago. Gregg makes music fun....I don't read a note of music...an ear player, but, I have made 3 CD's and I was 85 years of age when I purchased my first organ!
I am now age 90 and attend class each Wednesday in Newcastle. The classes are small and private lesson are also available. You love music? Then Gregg's Music Center in Newcastle is the right place to begin...play
only the music that you like! What are you waiting for?

I had never taken any music lessons but had always wanted to learn to play. I saw Gregg's Music in a local adult ed catalog and decided to try it. With absolutely no music experience, I started his 6 wk class and by the end of that period, I was in love with music. His lessons are fun and easy to understand and he makes learning to play something I could actually achieve. I have been taking lessons from Gregg for almost 3 yrs now but within months, I was able to play all types of songs and read the music. His style is for everyone to have fun learning and being creative with your music. I highly recommend trying his classes or lessons if you have wanted to learn how to play keyboards. You will be able to play for your friends and family within months and not have to take those years and years of techniques to be able to play. He has enriched my life with music.

Gregg Isett is a musical genius. He is an artist. When he chooses a song to play, he creates an unforgettable masterpiece. He is a highly skilled teacher. His classes range from basic music instruction to the most advanced. In his classes, he teaches reading music, playing chords and finger placement especially when many chords are involved in a song, as well as keyboard techniques, rhythm, beginning and endings, special sound effects, etc. His knowledge of the organ is unsurpassed. He assists his students with music appreciation. When he assigns a song, he always gives a brief history of the song.
There is absolutely no limit to what you can learn from Gregg about playing a keyboard instrument and music. When he teaches music, he emphasizes having fun with music and demonstrates this by constantly planning fun activities! His most important asset always is his great sense of humor.
